O. pen 2.0 Variable Voltage Battery Instructions
- Low – 2.4 volts is great for vape cartridges meant for low voltage settings.
- Medium – 3.2 volts is perfect for a more flavorful and sizable vape hit, and is shown through a red color illuminating.
- High – Green lights mean you are at the high setting, which is 4.0 volts.
What setting should my ooze pen be?
We recommend starting at the lowest voltage, 3.3V, and moving up to 3.8V if it’s not giving you enough of a hit. Some oils have a thicker consistency, so just turn the dial incrementally until you get the desired hit.

Inspect the battery contact; it may be clogged or coated. If this occurs, wipe the contact portion with a Q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol, let the terminal dry, reconnect your cartridge to the battery and try it again. Do NOT overtighten your cartridge. Make sure your battery is turned on and fully charged.
What voltage should I set my vape to?
For 2-ohm coils, the ideal voltage falls between the ballpark of 3.3 to 4.0 volts. Higher ohm (aka higher resistance) coils allow for a higher voltage. They also tend to produce less vapour and at a cooler temperature. With this in mind, it’s upon you to find out what works best for your palate.

Anyone can pick up and use a disposable vape pen in these simple steps:
- Remove vape from the packaging.
- If there is a button, click it, and an indicator light should turn on. If there is no button skip to step 3.
- Inhale through the mouthpiece.
- Exhale the vapor.
Certain batteries will flash 3 times to indicate a short circuit. Most standard e-cig batteries will have what’s called short circuit protection, so when there is a short and you press the fire button it will just blink 3 times and then won’t do anything. Just check the battery isn’t screwed on too tight.

Do I need to keep vape upright?
As far as the best way to do that goes, it’s recommended to keep vape devices in an upright position when not in use. The air vents are also designed to keep the wicking material inside your vaporiser soaked with e-juice when you vape, which in turn prevents dry hits and your device from damage.
Can you leave a cartridge on a vape pen?
You may want to keep your product packing to help both minimize light and keep your cartridge upright. Storing cannabis vape cartridges horizontally may seem harmless, but many cartridges will end up becoming backed up if not stored upright. Broken vape cartridges can lead to leaks that can ruin your cartridge.
How do you carry a vape pen?
The FAA prohibits these devices in checked bags. Battery-powered E-cigarettes, vaporizers, vape pens, atomizers, and electronic nicotine delivery systems may only be carried in the aircraft cabin (in carry -on baggage or on your person). Check with your airline for additional restrictions.
